It’s not just about the ride, it’s creating lifelong memories and unforgettable experiences for the whole family. The BlackTop Warriors Jeep Club started as a group of individuals from different Jeep clubs in the area looking for a little something more from our off-roading hobby. We wanted a place to not only share our adventures but to become a close family of Jeep enthusiasts that could pass on the rules of the road to our youngsters, as well as, help out other members through thick and thin.
The BlackTop Warriors Jeep Club may be new as an officially recognized club, but our members share the same level of interest as the most seasoned of off-roaders. Founded at the beginning of 2019 in Northeast Pennsylvania, we are a nature-loving group, perfect for every level of rider. We provide a place for everyone in the family down to the youngest of Jeep lovers. Our rides cater to both the beginner and knowledgeable rider, from hitting the rocky trails to a relaxing scenic pavement ride. No matter the location we are always having a great time together. Most Warriors think of our club as a second family, all connected by our shared love of adventure and our Jeeps.

“Gary and I about a year ago envisioned having a club that we could teach our children how to have fun and enjoy the outdoors. But it now has turned into a great caring fun loving experience that has grown in a big family. Each and everyone has touched my heart as I walk this journey with cancer they helped me make this club my therapy.”
Warm Welcome
Our motto isn’t, “Eat, Sleep, Jeep, Repeat.” for nothing. The BlackTop Warriors were built on the basis of community and family, so our doors will remain wide open for anyone who wants to share in our experience. Even if you are already part of a Jeep club we won’t turn you down. If you aren’t ready to become a full-fledged member, that’s ok too. You are still welcome to join us on any ride, all it takes is a trip online to our Facebook page to get more info on our upcoming events. Don’t own a Jeep yet but still want to see what being part of the community is like? That is ok with us too!

“Being new to the jeep community I was looking for people to ride with. I get nervous around new people and fitting in feels like a struggle for me. The first event I ever attended was with the BTW, and their welcoming personalities made it so easy to become part of their group. My first impression was that they are very family oriented and cater to even the smallest of jeepers. Everyone riding with the warriors is bound to have a great time no matter their age. I’ve attended a few events and I see how welcoming they are with each new face. They are a zero judgment jeep family, which means a lot!”
Don’t Drive Beyond Your Capabilities
Important: Safety is the name of our game. If you are new to off-roading please only take on trails that suit your comfort level. Learn your vehicle first and its capabilities. If you want to amp up the excitement in the future, with our club, you will have a knowledgeable and supportive team to help you achieve your riding goals.
Plans Trips
We set up annual visits to many of our favorite drives throughout Northeast Pennsylvania and the surrounding area. Past year we have enjoyed public land rides, game land tours, the off-road beach at Assateague Island and more. But that is not all, our Jeep family goes just about everywhere we can together including restaurant gatherings, amusement parks and foliage rides in the fall. Our members come from all over the U.S. to join in the fun. We meet a minimum of two times a month to hit the trails or attend exciting events and look forward to sharing every new experience with our fellow Warriors in the coming years.
Check out our Facebook Event Page for updated trips.
Helping Hands
As we mentioned before The BlackTop Warriors Jeep Club is all about community, so we also like to lend a helping hand whenever we can. Last year we were proud to be a part of the Wyoming Valley Veterans Day Parade. We also paid a visit to the infamous Graffiti Highway to help EPCAMR clean up the area. For the holidays we were happy to attend Wilkes-Barre and Scranton Christmas parades. Our Jeep family can’t wait to give back this coming year.
Go Topless Day
Go Topless Day is a national event in the jeep world where Jeepers from all enjoy the fresh air with their Jeep tops off and raise funds for a local charity.
In 2020 we are hosting our first Go Topless Day. Our charity will be Candy’s Place in Forty Fort PA (They are a Nonprofit Cancer Wellness center). Grotto Pizza of Harveys Lake will be co-hosting the event with us. Dave Kuharchik at DiscoverNEPA has been a great help as well along with many other sponsors.
